A few weeks ago Susan, found a picture that I had posted on Pontiac Underground for some much needed publicity regarding our hopes getting on Bullrun. Well it paid off!!

Getting Noticed in the ‘Underground’

With its power-packed performance and head-turning style, Scott Spielman’s Phantom Black 2004 GTO deserves a starring role on Spike TV’s reality show, Bullrun, he believes. So the Beavercreek, Ohio, resident posted his GTO photos on the “See and Be Seen” section of Pontiacunderground.com and pointed Bullrun producers to the site to lobby for a spot in the competition. At stake on Bullrun is a $200,000 prize to the first of 12 teams to complete the 4,000-mile, eight-day, cross-country road trip.

“Last year on Bullrun, a guy from Indiana driving a Pontiac won it,” says Spielman, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and aircraft technician at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. “We have the same motor and I figured if he could win, so can I. It would be so cool to have Pontiac win Bullrun back-to-back.” Spielman’s friend, Christian Geeding, snapped the striking photos of Spielman’s sleek GTO under the street-lit evening ambience of an outdoor shopping center in Beavercreek.

“It’s an awesome car,” says Spielman, who also posts at his own website, teamgto.org and other GTO online communities. He appreciates the arrival of Pontiac Underground. “It’s probably one of the better laid-out sites that I’ve been on. It’s cool that it’s just for Pontiacs.”
